Our main massage therapist who is at RIT—Shawn formerly spent 7 years in the US Air Force. He has an A.A.S. from Finger Lakes Community College in Therapeutic Massage/Integrated Health Care. His techniques include deep tissue work for therapeutic results as well as relaxing Swedish massage and stretching techniques. He also works in a chiropractic office in Greece.

Kim has been a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist since 1999. She has had additional training in Deep Tissue/Trigger Point Therapy, Oncology Massage, and Maternity Massage. She is the founder and former Executive Director of Human Touch Initiative, a local non-profit that helps people facing cancer access massage with specially trained oncology massage therapists for as little as $10.
FAQsWhat is "chair" massage? For situations where massage needs to be mobile a specially designed massage chair is used. It puts the client in a forward-leaning position while supporting them and enabling them to relax. This position will allow access to your back, neck, shoulders and arms. It is also ergonomically designed for the massage therapist.
Is it okay to tip?
Yes, it is always appreciated. 15 to 20% is the norm in massage or other service industry settings.
Can I make multiple appointments at once?
Yes, you can set up appointments for future weeks with one visit to our web scheduler. See the "Schedule an Appointment" Button.
Must I Pay through the online schedulers credit card processing system?
We prefer you pay through the scheduler at the time you schedule. Cards are automatically processed through Stripe.com and we never have access to your credit card information. If you cancel with the required 24 hours notice OR if you want to pay with cash or check the day of your appointment we will issue a refund to your credit card.
Is our credit card information secure?
Please consider the security of the device you are using to pay. Hand-held devices and phones are not always secure.
What is the Cancellation Policy:
Our policy is to charge in full if you miss an appointment with less than 24 hours notice. To cancel an appointment, please follow the link provided in the appointment confirmation email you received. If you are closer than 24 hours from your appointment, please email us to cancel your appointment at email@example.com and we will do that for you.
We will receive an automated message of your cancellation and if you are canceling with the required 24 hours notice we will refund your credit card.
